I was born and raised in Quebec City, Canada and went to college in Montreal and became an Aerospace Engineer. Early in my career as an aerospace engineer I realized that algorithms and building solutions through software was really what made me tick. So one day in the summer of 1998, my wife Stephanie and I decided it was a good idea to both quit our jobs and drive across the country and move to Seattle to see what that "dot com" thing was all about. 10 days after arriving in Seattle, I landed a job at Primus Knowledge Solutions; I was now a Software Engineer! During my time at Primus, I met great mentors and learned about Enterprise Software. In 2004 and 2005 Stephanie and I became the proud parents of two boys, Adam and Eloi. They both are fluent in French and English and are talented pianists among other things.

Next career stop, 2005 when I joined Attenex (later acquired by FTI). There I discovered Machine Learning and Visual Analytics. These have instantly become my passion as a software developer. During my years at Attenex / FTI I played the role of developer, architect, director and product manager, but at the end of the day nothing beats architecting and building cool software! Talking about cool software, in 2014 I joined UBIX where we are building the coolest software ever, with this fantastic team of visionaries and technologists. When I am not building software, I love to train for and race in triathlons. I have done them all, from sprint distance to IRONMAN and I even had the privilege to race for USA Triathlon Team USA at Zofingen Switzerland for the long distance duathlon world championship race in 2013.
