I’ve been playing the startup game since the halcyon days of the first dotcom boom, with a relatively brief, and less enjoyable, excursion into big corporate structure through acquisition. I’ve played almost every role in software development officially or unofficially and am a dedicated non-specialist when it comes to tech. Having always been on small, massively over-performing, I thrive on the constant challenge of finding the right path from vision to real-world technology. When not UBIX-ing, you’ll find me playing hockey with my wife, or puttering around the house tending to a couple gardens, three French Bulldogs and a flock of chickens (anyone want any eggs?). Oh, and Go Hokies!
